Melissa L. Ness, JD, MSWMelissa is president of Connections Unlimited, Inc., a firm specializing in strategic advocacy, organization capacity building and leadership development. Connections’ purpose is to assist organizations and individuals:

Melissa Ness began her career as a music therapist, learning valuable lessons about one-to-one interaction and human behavior.
These early experiences “in the trenches” drove her to pursue and complete a master’s degree in social work. In this new role, Melissa worked to bring individuals and groups together to reach common goals.
Striving to have more influence in community outcomes, she earned her law degree and added analytical, strategic thinking to her skill set.
Melissa’s career includes work as a therapist, advocate, attorney, manager, executive, consultant and trainer.
She puts this diverse skill set and experience to work for you, with her ability to understand individual and group dynamics, work within community systems and design strategic frameworks to move organizations forward.
